Covid 19 Phase 1 & Phase 2
The KCS Foundation has been working to support underprivileged communities during both phases of the COVID-19 pandemic. In phase 1, the foundation took action to provide financial support to families in need by transferring Rs. 500 each to 487 families through a bank transfer. This financial assistance helped families cover their basic needs and alleviate some of the financial stress caused by the pandemic.
In phase 2 of the pandemic, the foundation went a step further and distributed food items for a month to 5100 families. This initiative helped families in need access food and maintain their nutritional needs, especially during a time when many people were struggling to make ends meet.
In addition to food assistance, the KCS Foundation also distributed 1,000,000 masks, 15,000 bars of soap, and 15,000 bottles of sanitizer to help people protect themselves and others from the spread of the virus. This effort to provide essential supplies and support communities during the pandemic showed the organization's commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
The KCS Foundation's efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrate its commitment to supporting communities and helping people in need, especially during difficult times.
